Appointed Person – Crane & Lifting Industry (AutoCAD)

About the role

We are seeking an Appointed Person with a strong background in crane and lifting operations to join a leading machinery relocation company. The role is office‑based in Oldham, working Monday to Friday, and involves producing detailed lift plans and safety documentation for high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create lift plants and load calculations using AutoCAD 2D.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) for projects across the UK.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage multiple lifting assignments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AutoCAD in a construction, heavy‑machinery, automotive or site‑based environment.
• Interest in the machinery lifting sector and ability to commute to Oldham.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (2D) proficiency.
