About the role

Join Busy Bees, the UK’s leading nursery group, as an Apprentice Early Years Educator in St. Albans. This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in a vibrant early years setting, allowing you to develop the skills needed for a long‑term career in childcare while working toward a recognised qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.
• Support the early years team in providing high‑quality care and learning experiences for all children.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment and follow health and safety procedures.
• Contribute to daily routines, including meals, nap times, and outdoor play.
• Participate in reflective practice and receive regular feedback from a Development Coach.

Required profile

• Passion for working with young children and a genuine interest in early years education.
• Enthusiastic, caring, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship qualification.
