About the role

Fairhive Homes is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join its on‑site electrical team in Aylesbury. This full‑time, fixed‑term apprenticeship offers hands‑on training while you work towards an NVQ Level 3 Installation Electrician qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with domestic wiring tasks across occupied and void properties.
• Install new lighting, sockets and undertake full rewiring projects.
• Carry out reactive electrical repairs and final testing to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Participate in both on‑site work and college‑day release study sessions.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in electrical work and a strong work ethic.
• Either recent school leaver, career changer or someone seeking a trade qualification.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Basic electrical wiring and installation.
• Understanding of domestic lighting and socket fitting.
• Ability to perform electrical testing and ensure safety compliance.
