About the role
This apprenticeship offers a full‑time, fixed‑term opportunity to work as a 1st line IT Technician while studying for a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification. You will receive comprehensive training and support from both the college and Baltic Apprenticeships.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support to end‑users.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Set up, configure and maintain computer systems.
- Assist in the ongoing management of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
- Act as a primary contact for resolving IT‑related problems.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Punctual, reliable and eager to learn from senior team members.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of computer systems.
- Basic knowledge of networks.
- Basic knowledge of software applications.
What we offer
- Salary of £20,932 per annum (ages 18‑20) or £24,733 per annum (ages 21+).
