Apprentice Panel Technician

About the role

Join FMG Repair Services as an Apprentice Panel Technician and earn while you learn. You will work in a modern garage workshop, gaining hands‑on experience repairing accident‑damaged vehicles and progressing towards an SCQF Level 6 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair.

Key responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Remove and replace damaged panels, trim, and interior components.
• Perform chassis alignment, panel repair, and welding tasks to exacting standards.
• Prepare repaired sections for painting and ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor and the wider repair team.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Attention to detail and customer‑care focus.
• Basic IT proficiency.
