Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

Join Superdrug as an Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant and start your career in health and beauty retail. You will work on the shop floor, helping customers, keeping the store tidy and stocked, and learning the business through a 12‑month in‑store apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product advice and promotions.
• Maintain store presentation, ensure shelves are fully stocked and displays are attractive.
• Support the team in meeting daily and weekly sales targets.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and complete the Retail Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Follow health, safety and company policies at all times.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and clear communication skills.
• Passion for health, beauty and customer service.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to change.
• GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and maths.
• Not currently in education, available for full‑time work, and eligible to work in the UK.
• No prior retail apprenticeship experience.
