Apprenticeships Assessor & Compliance Coach

About the role

The Apprenticeships Assessor & Compliance Coach will join the University Centre for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (UC‑AEC) at Leeds College of Building. Working with apprentices across Level 3, 4 and 6 programmes, you will support them in building digital portfolios, reviewing evidence, and preparing for their End Point Assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual and occasional face‑to‑face meetings with apprentices to discuss work undertaken and identify evidence.
• Review uploaded evidence to ensure it meets competency standards and quality criteria.
• Facilitate apprentice reviews with employers, providing feedback on progress and skill gaps.
• Guide apprentices through the preparation process for their End Point Assessment.
• Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or higher.
• Recent industry experience in construction or related sectors (preferred).
• Ability to understand learner needs in an educational environment.
• Willingness to undertake additional training.
• GCSE (4‑9 or equivalent) in English and Maths.
