Approved Electrician – Inspection & Testing (Full‑time, Maidstone)

About the role

We are recruiting an Approved Electrician to join a leading infrastructure services business delivering critical electrical works across commercial and industrial sites in the UK. The role is based in Maidstone, Kent and offers a permanent, full‑time contract with attractive earnings through realistic overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and testing on a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.
• Perform reactive and remedial electrical duties as required.
• Liaise directly with clients on‑site to discuss progress and identify further service needs.
• Complete test certifications and RAMS documentation to the required standard.
• Represent the business professionally at all times.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Certification.
• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) certification.
• JIB/ECS Gold Card.
• Hands‑on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

• CompEx Ex07 (supported if not held)

What we offer

• Salary £43,500 – £44,500 per year (plus overtime and door‑to‑door pay).
