Aqua Aerobics Class Instructor

About the role

GLL is seeking enthusiastic Aqua Aerobics Class Instructors to deliver safe, fun, and high‑energy water‑based fitness sessions at Helston Sport Centre. You will work with participants of all ages and abilities, using the unique properties of water to enhance fitness outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Aqua Aerobics classes that meet health and safety standards.
• Adapt exercises to suit different skill levels, providing progression or regression as needed.
• Motivate participants, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere.
• Monitor class size and ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
• Provide excellent customer service, exceeding participant expectations.

Required profile

• Exercise to Music Level 2 and/or a recognised Fitness Instructor qualification.
• Level 2 qualification in water‑based exercise.
• Strong communication and customer‑service focus.
• Commitment, enthusiasm and ability to work well in a team.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures.
