Architect – Design-Led Practice in Olney

About the role

Rise10 Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established, design‑led architectural practice to hire an experienced Architect for their Olney office. This full‑time, permanent role is entirely office‑based and offers the chance to work on bespoke new‑build homes, private residential schemes, commercial projects and multi‑unit housing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and detailed design solutions from brief to construction documentation.
• Produce high‑quality technical drawings, specifications and BIM models.
• Manage planning applications and Building Regulations submissions.
• Liaise with clients to capture requirements and present design proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and planning standards.
• Support continuous improvement of internal processes and client experience.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture with current ARB registration.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑Part 3 experience.
• Strong architectural design ability from concept through to technical delivery.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Experience with industry‑standard design/BIM software.
