Architect – High-End Hospitality & Residential Interiors

About the role

Our award‑winning practice in Old Street, London is seeking a Part 3 qualified Architect to join a collaborative studio that blends architecture with high‑end interior design. The role focuses on technically complex hospitality and luxury residential projects, many of which are situated in listed buildings and conservation areas.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawing packages and coordinate technical information throughout all project stages.
• Lead the preparation of tender and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop bespoke interior architectural details such as joinery, finishes, fixtures and fittings.
• Collaborate closely with interior designers, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers to achieve high‑quality delivery.
• Ensure designs meet UK Building Regulations as well as planning and conservation requirements.
• Balance contemporary design solutions with the preservation of historic fabric in listed buildings and conservation areas.

Required profile

• Part 3 qualified Architect with solid post‑qualification experience.
• Strong construction knowledge and proven ability to produce detailed tender and construction packages.
• Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Demonstrated experience on high‑end hospitality or luxury residential interior projects.
• Experience working within listed buildings and conservation areas is highly desirable.
• Proactive, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Vectorworks (preferred).
• NBS specifications preparation or coordination (advantageous).
