Architect – Lead Large-Scale Projects in Newcastle

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Architect to join a leading RIBA‑chartered practice in Newcastle. The role involves delivering high‑quality design solutions across residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale projects through all RIBA work stages, from concept to completion.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary team members.
• Produce detailed drawing packages using Revit.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality, compliance and design intent.
• Prepare architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation.

Required profile

• Registered with the ARB and holding a RIBA Part 3 qualification.
• Proven experience as an architect within a UK practice.
• Ability to work across a range of sectors and deliver design excellence.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Residence within a commutable distance to Newcastle.
