Architect – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to join our Edinburgh studio, delivering design solutions for residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will lead design development through all RIBA work stages and ensure high‑quality outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development across every RIBA work stage, from concept to construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to verify compliance and inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary team members and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare planning applications, detailed construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce tender packages and working drawing sets, maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Required profile

• Registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and holding a post‑RIBA Part 3 qualification.
• Proven experience working as an architect within a UK practice on residential and commercial schemes.
• Strong design and drawing abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
