Architect – RIBA Chartered Practice

About the role

Our client is a busy RIBA‑chartered practice in Southampton that is expanding and looking for a talented, enthusiastic Architect. You will work on a variety of new and existing projects across heritage, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the project lead to deliver projects through all RIBA stages from concept to completion.
• Prepare and develop drawings, visualisations, models and related design documentation.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD on a daily basis to produce detailed design work.
• Coordinate designs with external consultants and ensure compliance with planning applications.

Required profile

• Competent across all RIBA stages 1‑6 and RIBA Part 3 qualified.
• Proven design, analytical and technical detailing abilities.
• Excellent organisational, communication and deadline‑driven work ethic.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning application procedures.
• Strong freehand sketching and model‑making capabilities.
