Architect – Sports & Leisure Projects

About the role

Join an award‑winning architectural practice in East Sussex, specialising in sports and leisure facilities across the UK. You will work on innovative projects valued up to £50 million, collaborating with a dynamic and talented team to create inspiring community spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of sports and leisure projects throughout the UK.
• Manage projects through all RIBA work stages, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Produce detailed design, technical and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
• Control project programmes, deliverables and key deadlines.
• Present design proposals and communicate progress to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with experience across all RIBA work stages.
• Strong knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and technical standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with a full UK driving licence (desirable).
