Architectural Assistant – Design & Technical Role

About the role

Join an established independent practice that blends architecture and interior design across residential, commercial and education sectors. As an Architectural Assistant you will contribute to concept design, client presentations and site visits, working both autonomously and within a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial design concepts and produce presentation material for clients.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
• Attend site meetings and monitor project progress on‑site.
• Support senior architects during the planning and detailing stages.
• Maintain design standards and ensure compliance with passive house guidelines where applicable.

Required profile

• Strong sketching ability and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working at early planning stages of projects.
• Motivated to learn and develop within a supportive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
