Architectural Healthcare Lead

About the role

This senior position offers an experienced healthcare architect the chance to lead a growing portfolio of primary, secondary and acute care projects across several regional offices. You will work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver innovative design solutions and shape the future direction of the consultancy’s healthcare practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of healthcare schemes through all RIBA work stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure programmes, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing client links.
• Oversee BIM and Revit workflows to guarantee coordinated and accurate project information.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, guidance and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician (ARB or CIAT).
• Proven experience delivering UK healthcare projects across primary, secondary and acute settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in business development.
• Willingness to travel between regional offices and support team growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM methodologies.
