Architectural Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Architectural Technician to support the design and delivery of residential and mixed‑use housing projects. You will work closely with architects and project leaders, contributing from early feasibility studies through to detailed design and planning applications.

Key responsibilities

• Produce layout, feasibility and design drawings at various project stages.
• Prepare full, outline and reserved‑matter planning application packs, including 2D drawings, 3D visualisations and graphic outputs.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative, sustainable housing schemes.
• Support project documentation and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience on residential or mixed‑use projects for developers or national housebuilders.
• Strong interest in residential design and placemaking.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competence with Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic work.
• Experience using Sketch‑Up for 3D visualisation.
