Architectural Technician

About the role

A growing architectural practice with several offices across the South of England is adding an experienced Architectural Technician to its Chichester office. The practice has a steady pipeline of projects across many sectors and is expanding its teams. The role focuses on technical delivery from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, producing high-quality construction information and coordinated technical packages, and working closely with architects, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical and construction information from Stage 4 onwards
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and drawing packages
• Take responsibility for technical packages across projects
• Coordinate architectural information with consultants and contractors
• Ensure technical information meets UK Building Regulations and project requirements
• Attend site visits and help resolve technical issues
• Manage technical deliverables and project deadlines
• Support the wider project team throughout construction

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience within an architectural practice
• Strong technical and construction detailing experience
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Experience working across RIBA Stages 4 onwards and producing coordinated construction information
• Experience on commercial, education or defence projects is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage your own workload

Required skills

• Strong Revit experience
• Technical coordination with consultants and contractors
• Good communication and organisational skills
