Architectural Technologist / Technician

About the role

Join an award‑winning RIBA Chartered practice in the New Forest area as an Architectural Technologist / Technician. You will work on a varied portfolio of residential, mixed‑use, community and commercial projects, supporting the team from design through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality technical drawings and construction information using Revit.
• Support projects through technical design and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed design information, planning and Building Regulations submissions.
• Create tender packages, drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and statutory authorities.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Attend project and site meetings to ensure programmes are met.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technician in a UK practice.
• Experience on residential, mixed‑use, community or commercial projects.
• Strong Revit skills and experience working in a BIM environment.
• Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
