Area Director

About the role

Just Mortgages is seeking an ambitious Area Director for its Self‑Employed Division. You will lead a regional team of up to 40 self‑employed Mortgage and Protection Advisers, driving growth, compliance and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and develop Mortgage & Protection Advisers.
• Deliver regional growth through adviser productivity and business development.
• Support advisers in achieving their individual business plans.
• Drive protection penetration and improve customer outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with FCA and Openwork Network requirements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and business planning sessions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to execute divisional growth strategies.

Required profile

• CeMAP or equivalent industry‑recognised qualification.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a leadership or sales management role within the Mortgage and Protection sector.
• Proven success in recruiting, developing and retaining Mortgage and Protection Advisers.
• Strong understanding of mortgage, protection and financial services markets.
• Experience coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
