About the role
As an Area Manager for Amazon Logistics (AMZL) you will lead a site that fulfills and dispatches customer orders. You will ensure safety, efficiency and high‑quality operations while driving productivity across your area.
Key responsibilities
- Create, oversee and nurture a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Analyse performance data and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity.
- Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise output and improve service quality.
- Monitor shift performance against business objectives and take corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and support contingency planning.
Required profile
- University degree.
- Proven people‑management experience.
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Ability to use data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Required skills
- MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Lean methodology.
- Six Sigma techniques.
- Kaizen continuous‑improvement practices.
