Area Manager – Fulfilment Operations

About the role

As an Area Manager at Amazon’s Fulfilment Centre in Dartford, you will lead a diverse team to ensure the site meets demand while maintaining safety and productivity. This hands‑on position offers exposure to global operations and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across the site.
• Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to sustain high quality and productivity.
• Lead and support a team, handling administrative duties and fostering a strong team culture.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to optimise work and enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with fellow managers to standardise shift processes and manage operational contingencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
