Area Manager – Hospitality & Retail (Scotland)

About the role

This position is for an experienced Area Manager to lead multiple restaurant and retail sites across Scotland. You will be responsible for operational excellence, team development and driving commercial performance while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Store/Restaurant Managers to achieve targets.
• Conduct regular site visits focusing on health & safety, customer experience, productivity and payroll performance.
• Analyse regional performance data and implement strategies to improve people and business metrics.
• Identify training needs, support succession planning and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Handle HR‑related matters for the area and maintain commercial and operational standards.

Required profile

• Current experience as an Area, Cluster or Regional Manager.
• Background in a customer‑focused, people‑led environment such as hospitality, restaurants, QSR or retail.
• Proven track record of building high‑performing teams and driving profitability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• Ideally based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness or Aberdeen.
