About the role
The Area Manager II – Operations is responsible for ensuring a smooth, safe and productive shift at an Amazon fulfilment site in Cheltenham. You will lead a team of associates, drive a culture of safety and quality, and implement process improvements to meet customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Create, oversee, and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across the site.
- Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
- Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase service quality.
- Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor new managers and act as a role model for the team.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading large, fast‑paced operational teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
