Area Merchandiser

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Area Merchandiser to support a leading beauty retail operation across the North West and Yorkshire region. This field‑based position involves visiting stores, launching new products, and ensuring visual standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Visit stores across the assigned region to implement new launches and range changes.
• Audit merchandising standards and planogram compliance.
• Coach and train store merchandisers, providing on‑site guidance.
• Troubleshoot store issues, identify improvement opportunities and report findings.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and regional stakeholders.
• Produce reports and photographic feedback after each visit.

Required profile

• Retail experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience coaching or developing colleagues is desirable.
• Organised with excellent communication skills.
• Confident working independently and able to travel overnight when required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
