Area Sales Engineer – Torque Products

About the role

We are seeking an autonomous Area Sales Engineer specialising in torque products. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to support a market‑leading company, travelling to diverse customer sites across the South East of England.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site assessments and fault finding for torque and non‑torque applications.
• Visit customer locations such as submarines, wind turbines, and industrial plants to provide technical assistance and recommend testing equipment.
• Manage your own diary and plan visits within a two‑hour radius of your home.
• Deliver technical sales presentations and close sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role.
• Strong understanding of torque principles and related equipment.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional patch.

• Torque tool knowledge
• Hydraulic press operation
• Fault finding on torque equipment
