Area Sales Manager – East England

About the role
We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to help a fast‑growing machinery manufacturer expand its footprint across the East of England. The role is field‑based, requiring regular travel, hands‑on product demonstrations and a consultative sales approach.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, target and win new business opportunities within the region.
- Build, develop and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and showcase equipment features and benefits.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to closing deals.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Required profile
- Positive, driven and resilient approach with a strong work ethic.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a field‑based role.
- Comfortable with regular travel and hands‑on product demonstrations.
