Area Sales Manager – Electrical Products

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for field‑based sales of a broad portfolio of site electrical, lighting and power solutions across the South and Midlands. You will work with electrical service companies and contractors, managing existing accounts while generating new business in a region that currently generates around £4 million in turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell electrical, lighting and power products to site electrical service companies such as Crosby, Cape, Woodlands, EMS and Wingate.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while prospecting new accounts.
• Deliver a balanced mix of account management and new‑business development across a large geographic area.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling electrical products to site electrical companies or contractors.
• Self‑motivated, driven and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team attitude.

What we offer

• Base salary £45,000 – £55,000 per annum plus an approximate £10,000 performance bonus.
