Area Sales Manager – Forklift & MHE Sales

About the role
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the RH, SL and KT postcode territory. You will promote, sell and service new and used forklift trucks and other material handling equipment for a well‑established business with over 40 years of experience.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business through phone outreach and field visits.
- Demonstrate product ranges and conduct sales appointments with existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and service contract offers.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the manager on territory marketing initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven area/territory sales experience within the industrial sector.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Capability to develop and nurture client accounts.

- CRM usage
What we offer
- Base salary £36,000 per annum.
- On‑target earnings £50,000‑£55,000 uncapped.
- Company car and additional benefits.
