Area Sales Manager – Materials Handling (ME, TN, DA, CT)

About the role

Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will drive growth across the ME, TN, DA and CT region, focusing on new business development and managing existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new customers, arrange appointments, deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
• Close sales deals and negotiate pricing to achieve targets.
• Plan and manage the territory efficiently, balancing prospecting and account work.
• Provide a consultative approach across all organisational levels, from shop floor to board level.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Materials Handling, preferably within the forklift industry.
• Strong new‑business development and account‑management capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and objection‑handling skills.
• Commercial acumen with market and competitor awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
