Area Sales Manager – Merchant Sales

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead merchant sales of high‑quality bathroom wall panel products across Bristol, the M4 corridor, South West England and South Wales. The role involves building strong relationships with builders merchants, independent retailers and trade outlets to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing merchant and retail accounts.
• Generate new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
• Sell bathroom wall panel systems and associated products.
• Build relationships with builders merchants, bathroom retailers, independent trade outlets, contractors and installers.
• Cover the geographic area of Bristol, the M4 corridor, South West England and South Wales.

Required profile

• Previous external or internal sales experience in building materials, construction products, bathroom products, builders merchants, KBB sector or wall panels.
• Strong account management and business development capabilities.
• Ability to identify and win new opportunities.
• Knowledge of the merchant and retail route to market.
• Self‑motivated with a strong sales drive and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
