Area Sales Manager – Pumps, HVAC & Building Services

About the role

We are partnering with a market‑leading pump manufacturer to find an Area Sales Manager for London and the South. You will work with M&E contractors and engineering clients, promoting a full portfolio of pumping, heating and industrial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a defined regional territory of independent M&E contractors and engineering clients.
• Promote a comprehensive range of pumps, HVAC and building‑services equipment.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Conduct site visits, provide technical advice, prepare quotes and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver regular sales reporting.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets, KPIs and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in pumps, HVAC or building‑services sectors.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Consultative, solution‑focused selling style rather than price‑driven.
• Motivated, proactive and ambitious with a track record of meeting targets.
