Area Supervisor – Facilities Management (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to join our facilities management team in Bristol. You will be responsible for overseeing cleaning and service delivery across multiple client sites, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain service delivery standards and meet agreed KPIs.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships at the local level.
• Conduct regular audits, resolve issues, and ensure cleaning specifications are met.
• Line‑manage, induct and train frontline operatives.
• Support mobilisation of new contracts through site visits, inductions and training.
• Oversee health & safety compliance across all sites.
• Perform stock checks and manage ordering of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Cover cleaning duties and support other Area Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain accurate IT records of visits, activities and communications.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Managers, Account Managers and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in a similar facilities or contract‑cleaning supervisory role.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or willingness to complete within 3 months).
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and motivate a team.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
