About the role

Supply Staff Limited is seeking a qualified Art Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term role at a secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will inspire students to explore creativity across a range of artistic media while delivering a structured curriculum.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Encourage development of artistic techniques and personal expression.
Assess, record and monitor student progress in art.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to integrate art across subjects.
Participate in and support extracurricular art activities and clubs.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification; NQTs are welcome.
Passion for teaching art and fostering creativity.
Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
