Art Technician – Secondary School (Hackney)

About the role
We are seeking an Art Technician to join a vibrant secondary school in Hackney, starting September 2026. You will work alongside class teachers to support art education for students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the art teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Prepare and maintain art materials, equipment, and studio spaces.
- Support students in practical projects, ensuring safety and proper technique.
- Help organise exhibitions and display student artwork.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Art, Product Design, or a related field.
- Experience working with pupils in an educational setting.
- Ability to engage with students aged 11‑19 across KS3‑KS5.
