Asbestos Analyst – Permanent, Maidstone

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Asbestos Analyst to join a well‑established environmental consultancy serving commercial, domestic and public sector sites across Maidstone and the wider Kent area. The role offers a stable, full‑time permanent position with a supportive team and opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance sampling and four‑stage clearances.
• Perform analytical work in line with HSG248 guidance.
• Work on a variety of commercial, domestic and public sector projects.
• Produce accurate, compliant technical reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams on site.
• Ensure all activities comply with current legislation and safety standards.

Required profile

• BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications.
• Experience as an Asbestos Analyst within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and industry guidance.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
