Asbestos Analyst – Reading

About the role

We are a growing environmental consultancy seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our close‑knit team in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality air monitoring, clearance testing and analytical reporting while ensuring compliance with current legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake air monitoring and clearance testing on construction and remediation sites.
• Perform four‑stage clearances and reassurance air testing.
• Produce accurate, compliant analytical reports for clients and site teams.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal staff.
• Ensure all work adheres to asbestos regulations and industry guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications.
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Analyst.
• Strong understanding of asbestos regulations and analytical procedures.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
