Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Bristol & South West

About the role

Join a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, supporting a busy workload across Bristol, Gloucester, Oxford and surrounding areas. The role combines field surveying with laboratory analysis, offering a varied and stable career in a respected consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, 4‑stage clearances, leak testing, reassurance testing and re‑occupation certification following HSG248.
• Conduct bulk sampling and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Manage workload independently while receiving support from the operations team.
• Ensure all activities meet current legislation and HSE guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 certifications (essential).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable with strong communication and report‑writing abilities.
