Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Newcastle

About the role

We are seeking a dual‑skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a well‑established environmental consultancy in Newcastle. You will deliver high‑quality asbestos surveys and analytical services across commercial, industrial and domestic sites in the North East.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, 4‑stage clearances and personal monitoring.
• Produce accurate, compliant survey and analytical reports.
• Ensure all work adheres to UKAS and HSE guidance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications.
• Proven experience in a dual role within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Good IT and report‑writing abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
