Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Permanent, St Albans

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position combines asbestos surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial and mixed‑use sites in St Albans, North London and the wider M25 corridor. You will work for a well‑established asbestos consultancy that offers structured processes, realistic workloads and strong technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing and reassurance sampling.
• Survey and analyse asbestos in commercial, industrial and mixed‑use properties.
• Produce accurate, compliant survey and analytical reports.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or equivalent) qualifications.
• Proven experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
