Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – £40k-£43k, Maidstone

About the role

This permanent position is with an established environmental consultancy that delivers specialist asbestos services to commercial, industrial and public‑sector sites. Based in Maidstone, you will support projects across Kent, conducting surveys and producing compliant technical reports.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Carry out air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, leak testing and reassurance sampling according to HSG248.
• Collect and record bulk samples accurately during site visits.
• Produce clear, compliant technical reports for clients.
• Work across commercial, industrial and domestic properties while maintaining strong client and contractor relationships.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential).
• Proven experience within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail and reporting ability.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
