Asbestos Surveyor – Full‑time, London & South West

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our specialist Asset Management team. The role is field‑based, covering domestic and commercial properties across London and the South West, with extensive travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Asbestos Management Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Identify, assess and record asbestos‑containing materials (ACMs) and non‑asbestos items.
• Manage your diary to meet monthly survey targets and KPIs.
• Conduct Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) and re‑inspection surveys as needed.
• Provide specialist asbestos advice to internal stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to customer and colleague enquiries.
• Assist with onsite inspections and quality control of survey reports.
• Maintain accurate survey data in compliance with GDPR.
• Record cancellations, refusals and no‑access visits for programme management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislation and industry best practice.

Required profile

• P402 Surveying & Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings or RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience conducting asbestos surveys, preferably residential.
• Strong knowledge of CAR 2012, HSG264 and CDM 2015 regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
