Asbestos Surveyor – Southampton & South Coast

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS‑accredited consultancy covering Southampton and the wider South Coast. The role offers a stable, long‑term career with a consistent pipeline of domestic, commercial and public sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling across various property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage workloads efficiently across multiple client sites.
• Ensure all work complies with HSE guidance and company procedures.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality assurance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable approach.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
