About the role
A fantastic secondary school in the Borough of Westminster is seeking an aspiring maths teacher for a full‑time, permanent role. This position is designed for recent maths graduates who want to gain classroom experience before entering a teacher‑training programme.
Key responsibilities
- Support KS3‑5 maths lessons across the department.
- Deliver targeted interventions for GCSE and A‑Level students.
- Assist with lesson planning, marking and assessment tracking.
- Contribute to raising attainment and improving the quality of learning.
Required profile
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject (e.g., Further Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computing, Data Science, etc.) from a reputable university.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE and A‑Level maths curriculum.
- Good A‑Level and GCSE results across subjects.
- Motivation to develop as a teacher and enrol in a Schools Direct programme.

- Knowledge of the UK GCSE and A‑Level maths curriculum.
