About the role
We are seeking an Assembly Fitter with mechanical and hydraulic experience to join a global leader supplying specialist equipment to the aerospace sector. The role is permanent, full‑time and based in a clean, well‑equipped workshop in Stroud.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble, build and test mechanical and hydraulic equipment for heavy plant, vehicles and aerospace components.
- Maintain workshop standards and ensure all assembled equipment meets quality requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembler or Technician.
- Hands‑on knowledge of vehicles, plant machinery and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to commute to Stroud, South West England.

What we offer
- £35,000 per annum salary.
- Days‑based Monday‑Friday schedule (7:30 am‑4:30 pm).
