Assembly Operative – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assembly Operative to join an electronics manufacturing team in Thanet. The role involves assembling, inspecting and supporting the production of high‑quality electronic products while following strict quality and safety standards. You will work on a full‑time schedule and have the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Follow written instructions, technical documentation and manufacturing procedures for electronic product assembly.
• Carry out assembly, testing, packing and dispatch tasks to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Participate in training across all production areas.
• Ensure finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and customer expectations.
• Report any production, quality or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor or manager.
• Adhere to company policies, health and safety requirements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, punctual and dedicated work ethic.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly or production environments.
• Familiarity with quality standards, manufacturing procedures and health‑and‑safety practices.
