Assembly Operative

About the role

As our business continues to grow, we now require an additional Manufacturing Assembly Operative to join our well‑established team. The role is based at our modern Yateley site and requires candidates to have their own transport for commuting.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble constituent parts from PCB level through sub‑assembly to finished units following engineering drawings.
• Interpret wiring schedules and use meters to verify assembled work.
• Report specification or design errors to Cell Coordinators, Departmental Manager or Production Engineering.
• Ensure activities comply with Quality System procedures and meet recommended build times in the ERP system.
• Raise non‑conformance reports such as Observation Reports and Engineering Change requests.

Required profile

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience in an engineering, electronic or electrical environment.
• Proven soldering, cable assembly, mechanical assembly, wiring or crimping skills.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and interpret engineering schematics.
• Own transport to commute to the Yateley site.
