Assembly Operative – Manufacturing Role

About the role

We are seeking an Assembly Operative to join a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business near Pulborough, West Sussex. The role is hands‑on, working in a clean, organised production environment assembling specialist technical products for highly regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks using hand and power tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, instructions and build processes.
• Carry out wiring and basic fitting work.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Comfortable with practical, hands‑on tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow established processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.
• Stable work history preferred.
