Assembly Operative – Temp to Perm (Harlow)

About the role
We are seeking an Assembly Operative to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Harlow. The position starts as a temporary role with the possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks, offering a clean, modern environment and full training.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble products using small components and hand tools at a production line station.
- Operate semi‑automated machinery following step‑by‑step instructions.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience in production, assembly or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Required skills
- Use of hand tools.
- Operation of semi‑automated assembly machinery.
- Assembly of small components.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £12.71, increasing to £13.40 after 12 weeks.
- Potential permanent contract after the initial period.
